Carraway consults for CAA Centre, provides expert parking management solutions
As successful partners to Peel Region, facilitating people flow and crowd operations management at COVID-19 vaccination clinics across the area, Carraway was asked to consult for the CAA Centre. The goal was to provide the location with an assessment of their existing parking and traffic flow practices and to make recommendations on how to improve operations in concert with their internal security team.
After a careful review, the team at Carraway provided a set of recommendations to the Region of Peel as well as the CAA Centre who designated Carraway as the vendor to oversee their parking operations and assist with managing the security team, along with the volunteers responsible for line management.
This short-term contract represents an extension of our existing partnership, and ran throughout the month of June, 2021. A number of employees were assigned to this new initiative, with 4-5 on-site each day.
An overview of Carraway’s role at the CAA Centre
The CAA Centre consists of one-way traffic flow, and has a number of on-site parking lots contracted-out to different companies.

It is Carraway’s responsibility to:
- Ensure that traffic on the on-way street continues moving safely
- Safely block select entrances as required
- Maximize available parking space before advising vehicles to proceed to off-site parking options
Why parking management matters
The purpose of vehicle traffic management is to regulate and manage traffic flow, ensuring fluidity of vehicle movement while ensuring pedestrian and cyclist safety.
Many industries benefit from parking management and professional traffic flow management. In addition to optimizing available space, ensuring greater on-site safety, and facilitating the ease of movement for both vehicles and pedestrians, these services also create a better guest and visitor experience — something that is beneficial for businesses of all kinds.
